The general purpose of this emergency rulemaking is to modify Chapter 5 of the Personnel Director’s Administrative Procedures to address Paid Family Medical Leave.

The general purpose of this emergency rulemaking is to modify Chapter 5 of the Personnel Director’s Administrative Procedures to provide state employees Paid Family Medical Leave effective January 1, 2021 and bridge the time gap to the promulgation of permanent rules.
The hearing to promulgate permanent rules is scheduled for hearing February 5, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. The permanent rules are tentatively scheduled to take effect April 1, 2021

This emergency rule will be in effect for 120 days. The original emergency rule was filed under docket 2020-00132.
